We know more than anyone that sometimes sustainable recommendations can be a bit lackluster. So, we thought we'd provide you with recommendations that have been tried and tested by us.

Home: Smol - Sustainably packaged and conveniently small, it doesn't take up all the cupboard space. It comes at a really fair price and the detergent actually works amazingly.

Wellness: Fluus - Microplastic free, flushable pads that are super absorbent and great for the planet. If you're looking for a swap from your usual pads, we'd recommend this one. 

Food: We love a Circular & Co reusable cup. It's 100% leakproof, really lightweight, and there's no weird aftertaste. It's made from waste materials that are fully recyclable. Guilt-free coffee? Yes, please.

Body Care: There are so many great sustainable swaps when it comes to deodorant that we've tried, but we've chosen to shout out AKT. Why? Its sophisticated scents are unisex, and they look great on a bathroom shelf. You may have to reapply more than with others, but we think it does the job.

Skincare: NecessaryGood - Refillable skincare that offers eco-refill pouches that are home-compostable and easy to dispose of sustainably. Formulations that work for the skin in chic glass packaging. Call us biased, but that sounds perfect.

We truly believe in transparency. So, what does "plastic-free" actually mean? Unfortunately, it's rare to find something that doesn't come with a thin line of plastic film (for example, inside a cardboard milk carton) or microplastics or plastic-less lids. This is why we decided to go with glass packaging and aluminum caps. Our refill pouches are 100% biodegradable, so you don't have to worry about waste.
